The Studson SHK-1 Full Brim Non-Vented Safety Helmet is built for jobsite crews that need Type II impact protection, Class E electrical protection, full brim coverage, and a secure all-day fit. Designed for high-risk construction, drywall, framing, utility, oil and gas, clean energy, and industrial work, the SHK-1 helps protect against impacts to the top, front, side, and rear of the head.

This ANSI Type II safety helmet combines advanced impact technology with practical jobsite features, including Koroyd® energy absorption, Twiceme® NFC emergency technology, and a Fidlock® magnetic 4-point chinstrap. The non-vented shell is designed for electrical environments where Class E protection is required.

Built for Type II Jobsite Protection

The SHK-1 Full Brim Non-Vented Safety Helmet is compliant with ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019) Type I and Type II, Class E standards. Type II protection is designed to help protect against impacts from multiple angles, including the top, front, side, and rear.

The Class E electrical rating provides insulation for jobsite environments where electrical hazards may be present. The sealed, non-vented shell is rated up to 20,000 volts, making it a strong choice for crews working around electrical tasks or high-risk industrial conditions.

Advanced Helmet Technology

Koroyd® impact absorption is designed to compress on impact, helping reduce and dissipate force transferred to the head. This technology gives the SHK-1 added protection compared to a basic hard hat shell.

Twiceme® NFC Technology stores emergency contacts and critical medical information that can be accessed by first responders using an NFC-compatible device. This gives safety managers and emergency crews faster access to important information when seconds matter.

Fidlock® magnetic chinstrap uses a 4-point system with a magnetic buckle for secure fit and easier one-handed use, even while wearing gloves.

Comfort and Fit for Long Workdays

The SHK-1 is designed for full-shift wear with a lightweight build, adjustable front and rear fit system, and rear dial adjustment. The Perfect Fit System helps provide a secure fit for head sizes from 53–63 cm.

The full brim design helps provide added coverage from sun, rain, debris, and jobsite conditions while maintaining the secure feel needed for demanding work.
